Day 1 — Arrival to Pelorus Private Island

Arrive to your private paradise and check into your suite within the island’s single, architect-designed residence — a modern coastal masterpiece by David Dubois. As you settle into the island, enjoy a light seasonal lunch prepared by your private chef using local seafood and tropical produce.

Afternoon Snorkel 
Explore the vibrant fringing reef just offshore. The surrounding coral gardens are home to reef fish and vivid marine life — a perfect introduction to island life.

Dinner on the island
Toast to the beginning of your stay with a glass of Champagne and panoramic sunset views. Settle in for a chef-prepared, local inspired dinner from your private chef, made with fresh local ingredients.

Day 1 — Arrival to Pelorus Private Island

Helicopter journey to Pelorus Private Island. Your Great Barrier Reef experience begins with a 30-minute helicopter transfer direct from Ardo in Townsville, soaring over the coral-studded sea and the Palm Island archipelago.

Day 2 — Outer Reef Snorkel or Scuba Dive

Dive or snorkel among vibrant coral formations and marine life on the outer reef — including turtles, rays, and reef sharks — guided by Pelorus Private Island’s PADI-certified dive team.

Lunch on the reef
Savour a gourmet picnic lunch and chilled refreshments while anchored at one of the reef’s most pristine coral systems.

Afternoon at leisure
Return to the island for a massage or spa treatment, or relax by the infinity pool as the day drifts away.

Evening on the island

Day 2 — Outer Reef Snorkel or Scuba Dive

Enjoy a chef-prepared breakfast overlooking the reef, before departing on a private outer reef charter.

Day 3 — Hinchinbrook Island Exploration

Hinchinbrook Island Charter
Set out after breakfast for a private boat charter to Hinchinbrook Island, Australia’s largest national park island. Cruise through crocodile-filled estuaries, hike rainforest trails to the stunning Zoe Falls, and discover this untouched tropical wilderness.

Family-Style Lunch 
Return to Pelorus Island for a relaxed family-style lunch on the terrace overlooking the Coral Sea.

Afternoon at Leisure 
The afternoon is yours to design — choose from Jet Ski or Seabob tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, or reef fishing in the turquoise shallows.

Evening
Relax overlooking the ocean with cocktail Sundowners on the deck, followed by a three-course dinner prepared by your private chef

Day 4 — Island Adventures and Indulgence

Brunch on the island
A leisurely island brunch of tropical fruits, pastries, and freshly pressed juices awaits on the open-air terrace.

Afternoon at Leisure
Paddle board or take a water bike across the water, kayak into hidden bays, or join a guided reef fishing adventure.

Spa and Relaxation

Day 4 — Island Adventures and Indulgence

Day 5 — Hinchinbrook Island Exploration

Enjoy your final breakfast overlooking the turquoise reef, followed by a last swim or snorkel right off the beach.

Helicopter Transfer to Ardo
