The Ville Resort–Casino has unveiled the names and more details about three exciting new restaurants and bars planned for its upcoming $88 million luxury hotel, Ardo. The collection of dining experiences that will be calling Ardo home when it opens next year are a premium steak and seafood restaurant, Marmor; a modern Japanese offering, Terasu; and the highly-anticipated Ardo Rooftop bar.

Morris Group Executive Chairman Chris Morris said the venues would raise the bar for world-class dining in North Queensland.

“The Ville has already set the tone for premium dining in the region with the likes of the award-winning Miss Songs and Quarterdeck, but these new venues at Ardo will take it to a whole other level,”

Marmor, Terasu, and Ardo Rooftop will give guests the opportunity to experience a side of North Queensland that they’ve never seen before – the epitome of luxury on an international standard in a place like no other.”

Ardo’s top floor signature steak and seafood restaurant, Marmor promises a true elevation of Australia’s finest gourmet cuisine. Its name was born from the concept of connecting spaces and places – blending the worlds of land and sea together.

Diners at Terasu on the ground floor will be invited to experience a relaxed but edgy take on traditional Japanese cuisine. Its name means to illuminate, drawing inspiration from the bright lights of Tokyo city and bursting to life on the cusp of the Coral Sea.

Ardo Rooftop will be instantly iconic. From Ardo’s stunning rooftop location, the bar offers guests panoramic views across the Coral Sea to the horizon. It’s a place to gather with friends, sip the day away, take in the breathtaking scenery, and watch the sun go down. It’s play on another level.

The announcement comes as expressions of interest officially open for Ardo’s recruitment campaign for key staff, ahead of its anticipated opening in late 2023. The Ville CEO Michael Jones said more than 180 jobs will be available at the property across all departments.

“We’re looking for the people who will essentially bring Ardo to life, so we’re after people who share our passion for delivering exceptional service and Ardo’s uniquely North Queensland brand of luxury to our guests, there will be key roles available in all departments including hotel, culinary, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and more. What’s most exciting is that this new team will be part of something truly momentous, playing a vital role in the opening of a brand new luxury hotel in an iconic location.””
